Make Your Own Wedding Rings

Why settle for off-the-shelf when you can create something truly personal? In this relaxed and private workshop, you and your partner will make your own wedding rings under the guidance of Ness, an experienced jeweller. Taking place in her cosy home studio near Port Isaac, it’s a hands-on experience that adds a special layer of meaning to your big day.

What’s Involved?

Over the session, you’ll learn the essentials of jewellery-making, including:

  • Cutting the metal to the right size
  • Stamping your initials and/or wedding date inside
  • Soldering the join securely
  • Shaping it into a perfect ring
  • Filing to smooth out any rough edges
  • Polishing to give it a gorgeous finish

Don’t worry, Ness will guide you every step of the way, making sure your rings are as stunning as they are special.

Materials

You can choose to work with recycled sterling silver or recycled 18ct gold. If you decide to use gold, your rings will be sent off for hallmarking after the workshop and posted back to you securely, ready for your big day.

Why Make Your Own Rings ?

There’s something pretty amazing about making your own wedding rings, usually the groom to be makes his brides ring and the bride to be makes her grooms ring. Not only will they be completely unique, but you’ll also have the memory of making them together—an experience that’s hard to beat.

The Setting

The workshop is just for the two of you, so it’s all about your moment. Ness’s home studio near Port Isaac is a relaxed and friendly space, perfect for focusing on your creations (and having a few laughs along the way).
